What Will Lehigh Do With Upper Saucon Land?

Lehigh University has more than 700 acres of land available for campus expansion in Upper Saucon Township.

Lehigh University officials are scheduled to attend the Aug. 12 Upper Saucon Township Supervisors meeting to discuss development of the university's land holdings, which include more than 700 acres comprised of 20 properties.

The land, roughly bordered by Interstate 78 and Routes 309 and 378, was donated to Lehigh by the Stabler Foundation last year.

The land will likely be used for campus expansion, commercial development and open space preservation, according to a Lehigh Valley Live report.
