Center Valley Woman Caused Route 191 Accident, Police Say

Pennsylvania State Police at Belfast say a Center Valley woman caused an accident Thursday on Rt. 191 near the Rt. 33 interchange in Stockertown.

Pennsylvania State Police at Belfast say a Center Valley woman caused an accident Thursday on Route 191 near the Route 33 interchange in Stockertown.

According to a police news release, Adele C. Bon-Shannon, 63, rear-ended a vehicle operated by a 26-year-old Mount Bethel man.

Police said the man's car was slowing in traffic on Route 191 northbound when the accident occurred.

Bon-Shannon's 2010 Subaru Legacy was towed, and neither party reported injuries, according to police.

Bon-Shannon will be cited for driving at an unsafe speed, the release indicated.
