Memorial Golf Tournament to Be Held at Wedgewood

The Ken Stauffer Memorial Golf Tournament, which will benefit the Stauffer family charities, will be held Sunday, Sept. 15 at Wedgewood Golf Course in Coopersburg.

The Ken Stauffer Memorial Golf Tournament, which will benefit the Stauffer family charities, will be held Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at Wedgewood Golf Course in Coopersburg, organizers recently announced.

Stauffer, a 1980 graduate of Saucon Valley High School, recently died unexpectedly at his home in Roswell, Ga.

The four-person scramble style tournament will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start.

The cost to register is $60 per person or $240 per foursome. Tickets include a round of golf, beverages, dinner and prizes.

Businesses are still being sought to donate prizes and sponsor holes ($75).

To register, checks made payable to the Ken Stauffer Memorial Fund should be mailed c/o Rich Fluck, 830 Detweiler Ave., Hellertown, PA 18055.

All donations are requested by Aug. 5, and the deadline to register as a golfer is Aug. 10.

The following information should also be included with registration checks: golfer names and handicaps, and the number of dinner only guests, at a cost of $20 per person (if any).
