B.Braun to Build New Headquarters in Upper Saucon

Well-known Lehigh Valley employer B.Braun Medical Inc. has announced that it will build a new corporate headquarters on 21.5 acres of land near the confluence of Route 309, I-78 and Center Valley Parkway in Upper Saucon Township.

The property was purchased from Lehigh University and will be the future home to a new "state-of-the-art" headquarters campus, a press release posted on the B.Braun website indicated.  

"The purchase reflects the tremendous success and growth B.Braun has witnessed," said Bruce Heugel, Sr. VP & CFO of B.Braun. "The new headquarters campus also underscores the sustained commitment and investment B.Braun has made in the Lehigh Valley and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."

The company will continue to occupy its current headquarters on 12th Avenue in West Bethlehem once the new campus is complete, the news release stated.

A timeline for the new construction wasn't immediately available.

B.Braun develops, manufactures and markets medical products and services to the healthcare industry.

The B.Braun Group of Companies employs more than 46,000 employees in more than 50 countries, according to the company website.
