Coloring Contest to Be Highlight of Fall Festival

The annual Lower Milford Township Fall Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Lower Milford Township Fall Festival is fast approaching.

One of the highlights of this year's festival, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is a coloring contest for children.

The coloring contest form is available for download from the township website.

The contest is open to children in kindergarten through third grade, and colored forms should be returned to Lower Milford Township, 7607 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Forms must be received by Friday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m.

Other highlights of this year's Lower Milford Township Fall Festival will be:

  • Live music
  • Crafts
  • Food
  • Silent auction
  • Kiddie pedal tractor races with prizes
  • Free carriage rides
  • Book sale
  • Photo contest
  • Vendors
The form for photo contest entries is also available on the township website (the deadline to enter is Sept. 25).

The three contest categories are: Scenic Lower Milford, Architecture of Lower Milford and Wildlife of Lower Milford.

Ribbons and "bragging rights" will be awarded, according to the information posted on the website.

Proceeds from the silent auction, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the festival, will benefit Lower Milford Township Park and the Lower Milford Residents Association.
