Bear Spotted on So. Lehigh High School Grounds
A bear sighting in Upper Saucon Township Monday morning was one of two that occurred in close proximity to each other.
A Patch reader shared a photo of a bear she said was spotted on the grounds of Southern Lehigh High School in Upper Saucon Township Monday morning.
The woman reported that her son, who is a student at the school, snapped the photo.
Matt Haverhill was at work as part of a summer program when he saw the animal, she said.
Not too many miles away, a black bear sighting was also reported in Lower Saucon Township, near Route 412 on Monday morning.
