Revealed: Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway's Oscar Dress Mess

How did Lehigh Valley's Amanda Seyfried derail Anne Hathaway's plan for what to wear on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards?

The 2013 Oscar ceremony is history but there's still buzz about what the stars wore on the red carpet and why. Allentown native Seyfried looked stunning in a pale appliqued dress by British designer Alexander McQueen. Reports now say Hathaway saw a photo of the gown Seyfried planned to wear and then changed her choice because the gowns were so similar. Hathaway said she was planning to wear a Valentino gown up until just three hours before the awards ceremony. She ended up wearing a pale pink Prada gown with chest darts that accentated her, um, nipples. Hathaway issued an apology about …

And then there are the moviegoers who don’t understand why all those characters have to keep breaking out in song. But for me, one of the most resounding themes is the triumph of complexity over rigidity. French Police Inspector Javert sees Jean Valjean as bad because he stole a loaf of bread, served 19 years for his crime and then, upon his release, broke parole when society …
