Parks & Rec 5K Fitness Challenge, 'Little Women,' Arts & Crafts Sale

6:30 p.m., Celebrate Recovery, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 5900 Old Bethlehem Pike, Center Valley. Celebrate Recovery is a ministry designed to help hurting people. It is made up of regular folks who are on a journey toward wholeness, while seeking recovery from and celebrating God's healing of life's hurts, habits and hang-ups.

7 p.m., First Drama Troupe presents "Little Women," First United Church of Christ, 151 S. Fourth St., Quakertown. Tickets: Adults $10, Children and Seniors $8. Tickets will be sold at the door (if available) for $12 or $10. Call 215-536-4447 for tickets. Performances of the play are also scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 and 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.

8 a.m., Allentown Parks & Recreation 5K Fitness Challenge Benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Cedar Crest Parkway (near the Rose Garden pavilion), Allentown. Register to complete a noncompetitive full-body workout through a series of boot camp-style stations along a 5K path. Registration is $20 (additional donations are greatly appreciated) and very easy to do. Visit www.active.com and search 5K Fitness Challenge to register.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Easton Area High School Arts & Crafts Sale, EAHS cafeteria, 2601 William Penn Highway, Easton. The show will feature 100 vendors offering a fine selection of arts and crafts, with everything from well-known brands such as Avon and Tastefully Simple to homemade and handmade crafts, including crochet and knitted items, paintings, pottery and woodwork available. A bake sale will also be held, and lunchtime food items will be available for purchase.
