Girl Scout Cookie sales begin in the Southern Lehigh area. Be on the lookout for Girl Scouts selling cookies at various locations.
Friday, Jan. 17
6:30 p.m., Celebrate Recovery, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 5900 Old Bethlehem Pike, Center Valley
Saturday, Jan. 18
9 a.m. to noon, Upper Saucon Yard Waste Center open for drop-offs, 4461 Liberty Road, Coopersburg
11 a.m., The Snatchabook Storytime (children's storytime), Barnes & Noble, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, 2845 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley
Sunday, Jan. 19
11:30 a.m., Gift Card Bingo, Red Door Early Learning Center at Lower Saucon UCC, 1375 Third Ave., Hellertown. All of the prizes are popular retail gift cards.
7 to 9 p.m., Family Swim Night, Swim-in Zone, 4355 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley. Bring your whole family to swim and pay just $10 for the entire group. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. The event is a fundraiser for Cub Pack 25 of Emmaus.
