Highlights of this weekend in the Southern Lehigh area will be the Coopersburg Halloween Parade and the Southern Lehigh Public Library's 'Book It' 5K race on the Saucon Rail Trail.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Cabbage Fest featuring a cabbage recipe contest and tastings, Saucon Valley Farmers' Market, Water Street Park, Hellertown
3 p.m., Coopersburg Halloween Parade, State and Main streets, Coopersburg
