A fundraiser planned for Saturday will benefit a Southern Lehigh woman who is currently battling glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

The Scrapbook/Craft Day fundraiser for Maureen Zitta will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bally Fire House, 537 Chestnut St., Bally. All proceeds raised will go towards her medical expenses, a flyer about the event indicated.

The price for anyone planning to scrapbook is $25 in advance or $30 at the door (cash only).

A $10 admission fee will be charged to anyone planning only to shop.

Vendors at the craft fair will include Close to My Heart, Stella and Dot, Studio B, Origami Owl, Creative Memories and more.

Other highlights of the event will be a door prize raffle, a 50/50 raffle, food, drinks and baked goods available for purchase (cash only).

For those planning to scrapbook, this will be a great opportunity to create Christmas cards and/or unique gifts for family and friends.
