Snow and bitter cold will keep Southern Lehigh students at home Wednesday.
Southern Lehigh schools are closed Wednesday, due to weather.
More than half a foot of snow fell on the area Tuesday, and the National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory that is in effect through 11 a.m. Wednesday.
At 5 a.m., the temperature at Allentown had fallen to 1 and the wind chill was -16.
The announcement of another snow day for Southern Lehigh students was posted on the school district's website.
District offices will open at 10 a.m., the announcement said.
