REMINDER: District Dedicates Intermediate School in Liberati's Honor

Intermediate School will bear the name of former superintendent who championed its creation.

Hurricane Sandy may have tried to derail the district's plans, but today the Southern Lehigh School District will dedicate the Intermediate School in honor of former superintendent Joseph Liberati.

The building, which serves 4th through 6th grades, was a pet project of the former superintendent. Almost a year ago, Liberati passed away unexpectedly, only weeks after announcing his retirement.

In attendance at the event will be members of Liberati's family, student representatives, school board members, and administrators.
