Simmons Campaign Goes on the Attack in new Campaign Ads

A new round of ads touts Simmons' education record, claims opponent Deely will hurt taxpayers in Harrisburg.

A recent round of television ads is making waves as the race for the 131st district state House seat kicks into high gear.

Two different ads have been released by Rep. Justin Simmons (R-131) in his re-election effort. Described in articles as "offense" and "defense" ads, one shows Simmons talking about his record on education in Harrisburg while the other shows a smoking $100 bill while a voiceover talks about challenger Kevin Deely's time as a teachers union representative.

Deely, a Democrat, is a 10th grade teacher in the Easton Area School District and former president of the teachers union.

The Simmons/Deely race has been named a "race to watch" in a recent Politics PA article.

Corbett says gut education, Simmons in his Igor like stance says 'yesssss, Masssstah, I'll vote the pahhhteee line......' Kevin Deely has a mind of his own, no handlers, unlike his opponent. Simmons handlers have deep pockets, hence the ads.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! That is comical, I needed a laugh! Thanks for that! No really, that was good: Kevin Deely has his own mind!?!?!?! He wouldn't vote on renaming a bridge without checking with the teacher's union first.

Corbett didn't cut eduction. He is spending more than Rendell ever did. Rendell had Obama Bonus Bucks to blow. Obama cut that, not Rendell.

Gramma24 hit the nail on the head about Simmons. He is a puppet and climbed into his seat with the big push from Mensch. I hope he is looking at the job market. He will need a job after this election. What happened to your support against the proposed 628 acre quarry in Lower Milford? Boy that promise disappeared as soon as his butt hit that seat. Im sure H&K is a contributor toward this run.
