Now that pothole season has arrived, Lower Milford Township has alerted residents about a hotline to use in order to report them.

"Please call 610-967-4949 ext. 5 and give Mr. Kinsey a location of any you may see or fall into," the township urged in a Dec. 20 Facebook post.

"As soon as weather...and temperature are good for fixing them, the road crew will be out," the township added.

Potholes that are located on state roads can also be called in, and the information will be passed on to PennDOT.

Lower Milford Township reminded residents to drive carefully in areas where there may be potholes.

"A water-filled pothole can be much deeper and dangerous for you and your car," the township advised in its Facebook post about the subject.
