Lower Milford Township motorists can expect to encounter road crews seal-coating township thoroughfares in the coming weeks.

Lower Milford Township has announced via its website that several township roads are scheduled to be seal-coated this month, approximately between Aug. 12 and Aug. 23.

The seal-coating process is a method of road repair also known as oil-and-chip.

"Signs will be placed on each road one week prior to seal coating," the township said.

The following roads are on the schedule:

  • Chestnut Hill Church Road
  • Elementary Road
  • Grant Road
  • Plover Lane
  • School House Lane
  • Windom Drive.
