Limeport Pike Closed Monday as Water Line Work Begins

Limeport Pike will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m starting Monday through June 6.

From Upper Saucon Township:

Upper Saucon Township has contracted with Mid-State Utility Contractors, Inc. to perform a replacement of the water main along Limeport Pike between Lanark Road and W. Saucon Valley Road. The Township will replace the existing 3-inch water main with an 8-inch water main. The purpose of the project is to provide more reliable water service pressures and adequate fire flow protection along Limeport Pike.

Check out Upper Saucon Township's Google Map of the Project and detour.

Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 25, and may continue until June 6 at the latest. Work will be performed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m..

Limeport Pike will be closed to traffic between W. Saucon Valley Road and Lanark Road between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thru-traffic will be detoured along W. Saucon Valley Road and Lanark Road during the closure. After daily work is completed, the roadway will be opened to two-way traffic, and the detour taken down.

There will certainly be traffic impacts on Limeport Pike because of this project and there will be delays for travelers. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time and use caution when traveling through work zones.
