Former Coopersburg Manager Fired for Viewing Porn at New Job

Former Coopersburg manager Dan Stonehouse fired for use of township computers to view pornographic sites

According to a recent Morning Call article, former Coopersburg manager Dan Stonehouse has been fired by Heidelberg Township for allegedly viewing pornographic material at work.

Stonehouse, who was 's borough manager from 2004-2008, was fired after Heidelberg Township supervisors met in an executive session on November 21. Stonehouse was working as township administrator and zoning officer. According to the article, the session was called after auditors for the Township informed the supervisors that an employee told them that Stonehouse had used her computer to view pornographic websites. Auditors had blocked Stonehouse's access to "restricted" sites on his work computer last year.

Coopersburg Borough officials had no comment, and could not discuss why Stonehouse left in 2008.
