7 on Primary Ballot in Upper Saucon DJ Race

A total of seven candidates are running for district judge in magisterial district 31-3-03 in the May 21 primary race, according to an unofficial voter registration office list.

There are a total of seven candidates running for district judge in magisterial district 31-3-03 in the May 21 primary race, according to an unofficial voter registration office list. The district covers the borough of Coopersburg and Lower Milford and Upper Saucon townships.

All seven candidates hav cross-filed, meaning they will appear on both the Republican and Democratic ballots, according to the list.

Current District Judge David Harding is retiring, prompting numerous residents to announce their intention to run for the seat over the past few months.

The names on the May 21 primary ballot, according to an unofficial list from the Lehigh County voter registration office, are: 

  • Cathleen Hendrzak, Democrat
  • Scott A. McEllroy, Republican
  • Thomas P. Novak, Republican
  • Nathan Bauer Schiesser, Republican
  • Andrew Shaw, Democrat
  • Dan Trexler, Republican
  • Mike Zweifel, Republican
