4 Appointed to So. Lehigh Library Board

Upper Saucon Township supervisors unanimously appointed four people to three-year terms on the Southern Lehigh Public Library Board of Directors at a recent meeting.

Appointed to the board were Sidney Stevens (reappointment), Eric Bartosz, Kristen Bruck and Leslie Staffield.

Supervisor Jack DeMatos said the committee that reviewed applications for the board seats considered "seven very highly qualified candidates."

"So it was very difficult to cull the list down to four," he said.

Since the Southern Lehigh School District's representative on the board recently resigned, DeMatos said the names of the three candidates not appointed by Upper Saucon Township would be forwarded to the district for consideration.

The borough of Coopersburg and Lower Milford Township are also represented on the library board.
