Woman Admits Firing Gun Near Sleeping Husband in L. Milford

Registered nurse Patricia Lee Mitchell, 56, also pleaded guilty to DUI in a separate case, and will be sentenced next month to serve time in county jail plus probation as part of a plea deal.

A woman charged with firing a gun near her husband while he was asleep inside their Vera Cruz Road, Lower Milford Township home last summer admitted in court Thursday to a charge of reckless endangerment, while claiming that she accidentally discharged the firearm and wasn't aiming it at him, the Morning Call reported.

Registered nurse Patricia Lee Mitchell, 56, also pleaded guilty to DUI in a separate case, and will be sentenced next month to serve time in county jail plus probation as part of a plea deal, the newspaper article indicated.
