Upper Saucon Police Dept. Welcomes New Officer

Scott Suleski is Upper Saucon Township's newest police officer and a member of the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department.

A highlight of Monday's Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors meeting was the swearing in of the township's newest police officer, Scott Suleski.

Suleski was joined by family members and dozens of fellow volunteers from the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department for the brief ceremony.

Police Chief Robert Coyle told supervisors that Suleski is a South Plainfield, N.J., native and a 2013 graduate of DeSales University, where he majored in criminal justice.

Suleski was hired to fill a vacancy created when another township officer left to work in the David M. Petzold Digital Forensics Laboratory of Lehigh County, which is located on the DeSales campus, Coyle said.
