Upper Saucon Man, 22, Killed In Accident

A motorcyclist killed in a collision with another vehicle was a Coopersburg volunteer firefighter, according to his obituary.

A 22-year-old Upper Saucon man was killed Tuesday when his motorcycle and another vehicle collided at Schoenersville and Stoke Park roads in Hanover Township, Northampton County, according to the Lehigh County coroner's office.

William Valentin, of 4942 Route 309, was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital-Fountain Hill, where he was pronounced dead at 11:06 p.m., the coroner said.

The accident happened about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday. 

He was a Coopersburg volunteer firefighter, according to Facebook postings and his obituary.

The coroner said Valentin died of multiple traumatic injuries. He ruled the manner of death an accident.

Colonial Regional police and the coroner's office are investigating.
