Tell A Police Officer "Thank You" Today

Have you thanked a cop lately?

You can do this any day, but especially today, Saturday, Sept. 15, National Tell A Police Officer "Thank You" Day, please take time to thank a police officer for all police do in your community.

While they're only a few words, they will mean a lot.

Today's message is especially poignant considering Thursday's fatal shooting of an officer in the line of duty in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County.

by a man who was on probation after pleading guilty to forgery charges.

Fox is one of four officers killed in the line of duty in Pennsylvania so far this year.

Last year, of Bethlehem when he was shot to death responding to a complaint in Freemansburg. George Hitcho Jr. in the case in May.

Ron Hamill, it's people like you that make our jobs as police officers difacult for the little money we make for what we do and you want to complain about our retirement. Try doing our job then let's see what you think about the retirement. From a long devoted police officer
