A 34-year-old Allentown man was injured early Saturday when he lost control of his sport motorcycle on Interstate 78 and crashed into the barrier that separates east-west traffic.
Luis A. Santiago was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, state police at Fogelsville said.
The accident happened at 12:40 a.m. on I-78 west (mile marker 60.6) in Upper Saucon.
State police said Santiago was travelling at 110 mph. Charges are pending, following the results of blood-alcohol content testing, they said.
