I hope this is just one of those times that a young adult can be "non thinking". Hopefully he just got sidetracked and, having lived away from home is not thinking about checking in. These are the worst times for a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with this family for a positive result.

I pray this boy is not found drowned- there is a list of missing college boys who have been found drowned and always the police say no foul play! Very very suspicious!

I know that when I was that age I would often times tell my parents that I was coming home and ended up stopping to hang out with friends for some time while they thought I was going to be home. I was notorious for doing this and my parents even worried about me and would call/text. But I would NEVER let it go for more than a few hours - definitely not days. So, Mary Anne I hope that you are right and he has taken it to another level about not checking in, but it just doesn't add up. On the news story last night they said that he never did anything like this - that he was very responsible. Hopefully this ends well, but I just have a bad feeling about all of this. Prayers to the family...

I agree...I have read about at least four college aged teens being found drowned. So sad! I'm so hoping this ends well

My heart and prayers go out to this boy's family. My son just arrived home from college on Saturday and cannot imagine the pain the Royal Family must be going through. Praying for a happy ending.
