Man Used Feces to Write 'I AM SORRY' on Restroom Wall, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township police say Richard Norman Hamm II, 22, of Center Valley, also made two prank phone calls in which he asked Subway staff to check the women's restroom that he had allegedly just vandalized.

An Upper Saucon Township man has been charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and harassment, after police say he used feces to write "I AM SORRY" inside a bathroom at Subway, 1862 Leithsville Road, Lower Saucon Township, on the afternoon of Jan. 8.

In a news release issued Tuesday, township police said Richard Norman Hamm II, 22, of the 4000 block of Lalique Lane, Center Valley, later made two prank phone calls to the restaurant in which he asked staff to check the women's restroom.

Police said Hamm used a blocked phone number to make the calls.

When staff discovered the condition of the lavatory, they closed it and called police, the news release said.
