Man Caused Violent Scene at Restaurant, Police Say

Michael A. Delaney, 29, of Kent, Wash., is facing numerous charges related to an alleged incident at Melt restaurant in The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley.

A man from Washington state is free on bail but facing numerous charges after being accused of causing a violent ruckus at Melt restaurant in The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, where he allegedly placed his hands on customers, became belligerent and fought with restaurant staff who tried to eject him, according to an article published by the Express-Times that cites police and court records.

According to the article, Michael A. Delaney, 29, of Kent, Wash., was apparently drunk when he allegedly caused the scene, threatened to eat a police officer's face off, and urinated inside an Upper Saucon Township Police holding cell.
