Man Caused Accident By Not Allowing Other Car to Merge: Police
Lower Saucon Township Police say Peter H. Tillstrom, of Muirfield Road, Center Valley, has been charged with careless driving.
Lower Saucon Township Police say a Center Valley man caused an accident when "failed to slow his vehicle down to allow a vehicle to merge into one lane" on Rt. 378.
In a news release, police said Peter H. Tillstrom, of the 3200 block of Muirfield Road, was southbound near the Saucon Square shopping center when the accident happened Aug. 14.
"Witnesses on the scene also reported (that Tillstrom) drove his vehicle into the northbound lane to not allow the other vehicle to merge," police said.
There were no injuries and only minor damage as a result of the accident, they added.
Tillstrom has been charged with careless driving and "driving on roadways laned for travel," according to authorities.
