Coopersburg PD Could Move Headquarters
The Coopersburg Police Department could relocate its headquarters from Borough Hall to the nearby Ambulance Building.
At a recent Coopersburg Borough Council meeting, Mayor Jonathan Mack told council he had recently spoken with Borough Police Chief Daniel Trexler about the possibility of relocating police headquarters to the nearby Ambulance Building.
Mack said estimates for the relocation are being requested.
"I think we do need some specifics," said council president Jack Felch, with regard to the issue, which council is expected to discuss in the future.
At the meeting Mack also informed council that the police department plans to hire part-time officers, to replace current part-timers who are leaving for full-time positions.
