Alleged Assault Leaves Coopersburg Woman Bloody, Bruised
Zachary Boston was found outside his apartment with blood on his hands and arms, police say.
Police say a Coopersburg man shoved his girlfriend onto the ground, causing a cut and injuries to her face after getting into an argument.

According to the criminal complaint, officers arrived to find Zachary Boston, 20, outside the apartment building shirtless and wearing only socks on his feet. Boston had blood on his hands and arms and had been drinking, police say.

After talking with Boston, police spoke with his girlfriend, Alexandra Plante, in the apartment building.
She answered the door revealing a cut under her eye with redness and swelling to the side of her face, according to police.
Boston’s girlfriend claimed the couple had gotten into an argument when he shoved her, causing her to fall against the floor and strike the coffee table. Boston lost his footing and fell on top of her, cutting himself on the glass, she told police.

Boston was charged with simple assault and harassment and was released on $10,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 12.
