Coopersburg Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

A man dressed in black was seen leaving a Coopersburg gas station and walking on Fairmount and Main streets.

The US Gas station at 360 N. Third St. (Route 309) in Coopersburg was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon, Coopersburg Police Chief Daniel Trexler said.

A black man, dressed in black, showed a gun and ordered a clerk to give him money from the cash register, the chief said. Authorities are still determining how much money was taken.

The robbery occurred at 2:51 p.m.

Police released a video frame of the suspect.

The robber fled on foot.
