Contractor Bilked Woman Out of $10,000, Police Say
An Upper Saucon Township woman was allegedly defrauded of $10,000 by a Salisbury Township contractor who agreed to install an elevator for her. Police say Matthew Gregorec, of the 1600 block of Cardinal Drive, never did the work.
An Upper Saucon Township woman was allegedly defrauded of $10,000 by a Salisbury Township contractor who agreed to install a platform lift at her home but never did, according to an article published Tuesday by the Express-Times.
According to authorities, Matthew Gregorec of Freedom Lift and Elevator admitted earlier this month to keeping the money in spite of never performing the work, the article said.
