SLHS presents "Noises Off" Preview

Southern Lehigh High School will proudly present Michael Frayn’s great farce, Noises Off, from Thursday, November 14 to Saturday, November 16.  The play will begin at 7:30PM and tickets, which are for general seating will be available at the door prior to each performance.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students/senior citizens.  The play has a total running time of just over 2 hours.

Noises Off features 9 actors in a show-within-a-show, backstage look at the world of theatre.  This 3-act play reveals the final dress rehearsal, a performance 2 months into the play’s run, and finally one of the last performances.  At each of these stages in the production, the audience witnesses the animosities, romances, and jealousies of the cast coupled with the mistakes of missed cues, wrong props, delayed entrances, and an assortment of theatrical errors.  Noises Off is widely regarded as one of the funniest plays in the last 30 years and is a treat for all.

The production features seniors Hannah Cassel, Gabby Dalope, Alex Knapp, Abby Muth, and Phil Shaheen; juniors Kristin Kidd, Austin Piel, and Jason Renner; and sophomore Chris Smith.  The play is under the direction of Mr. Matthew Wehr and stage-managed by Miss Jesse Mead.
