Margaret 'Peg' A. Murphy, 88, Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church [Obituary]

Margaret "Peg" A. Murphy, 88, of Coopersburg and formerly of Chalfont, passed away on Dec. 2, 2013 at Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Kelly) Nichol and she was the wife of the late James J. Murphy. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Coopersburg.

SURVIVORS: children: Patricia O'Connell and her companion Alan, Sheila Burns and her husband Charles, Noreen Gaynor and her husband Ed, James Murphy and his wife Jane, Robert Murphy and his companion Ted, Annette Hamilton and her husband Ken; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Margie Murphy.

SERVICES: A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 5050 St. Josephs Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. A calling period will take place from 9:30 to 10 a.m. before mass in the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Coopersburg. Arrangements are by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
