So. Lehigh Library to Celebrate 'the Big 5-0' Saturday
A party in celebration of the Southern Lehigh Public Library's 50th anniversary will be held for patrons on Saturday, Aug. 24 from noon to 3 p.m.
As part of its fiftieth anniversary celebrations, Southern Lehigh Public Library is planning a public party—and you're invited.
Residents are being invited to attend "the Big 5-0" bash, which will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 from noon to 3 p.m.
Highlights of Saturday's Big 5-0 party will be music, food, face-painting, a magic show, a raffle and a library card drive.

"This won’t just be another 50th anniversary—we want to celebrate the next 50 years as we transition into a community center serving the Southern Lehigh communities of Coopersburg, Center Valley, Upper Saucon Township and Lower Milford," a press release indicated.
As part of that transition, residents will be asked to tell the library about what kinds of programs and events they would like to see scheduled in the future.
