More info on LMT elections

Gail’s latest newsletter & web site

1]         I have gone over the latest multicolored newsletter and have gone to her web site.

2]         However I have not found detailed specific positions, plans, appropriate funding,  realistic  implementation, etc. on either.

3]         Does she have in writing from the majority of the LMT residents in support of what she just even states in these documents ?

4]         On the web site it looks like the only aspect you can click on for more information is to donate to her.

5]         I am I wrong or did I miss something ?

6]         But this latest multicolor flier by Gail Hunsberger, the new person seeking election, “ not reelection “ to the LMT Supervisor position, just received in the mail,  I think does say a lot !

7]         But briefly, she seems to be trying to “ get up to speed “  as fast & as best she can in such a sudden short time effort before the election e.g. starting to know

 “ just some “ of the many people in LMT, the many important issues involved, history, what has been done and not done & the all important “ WHY ! “, etc..

8]         This of course is the “ opposite “ of Mike, the “ seasoned  veteran “ long time LMT Supervisor running for reelection, not just election.

9]         “ He has a new website in case some do not know and it is excellent !

10]       I am sending in my ”  financial contribution “ as Ed on his site knows –

so I am “ putting my money where my mouth is “ as the saying goes. 

11]       Who else or  ”  just talk the talk and not walk the walk, especially the financial ones ! “

12]       As the saying also goes “ freedom is not free ! “

13]       So she might want to better do an ” apprenticeship / internship “ with the LMT Supervisors and other aspects of LMT for several years, rather than trying to be a LMT Supervisor,  since she is so inexperienced, less credentials, proven performance for the long term for overall benefit  with LMT, compared to Mike..

14]       Is this not what you do as part of your “ education “ like at DSU and other education she has had, etc. ?

15]       Specific appropriate training and certifications are nice too 

16]       Has she had any legal training , experience, etc. ?  She certainly will need it as supervisor in LMT ?

17]       She is with the fire department and in the health professions, so must know that too.

18]       We certainly need new younger people in L:MT to take over for many of the

 “ old-timers “ who have worked so hard at much personal sacrifice for the overall long term good of LMT of course, but they need to have the right credentials, experience, knowledge, etc. about LMT.

19]       As many of us know, “ both God & the devil “ are in the details and many have lost their jobs by not getting sufficiently involved in the so may specific details of complex matters like in LMT.

20]       The sports analogy might be at the critical moment at the end of a close game, do you send in the very promising new unproven “ rookie “ or the “ seasoned “ top long time performing and proven “veteran “ to try to win the game ?

21]       Comments, reactions, corrections, more info, etc. – or are you just reading ?  That is fine too, especially if you do not have the proper and appropriate experience, credentials, etc. to say anything or even just prefer to read & listen.  But even just your support is still much needed.

22]       Just as long as you are properly informed if you vote – but some do not for a variety of reasons – many have died and suffered greatly for all the “ freedoms “ we do have including the vote.  So they have the right to vote, even if they do not exercise it.

23]       All the best always to all who continue to do so much for LMT, even when we do not know about it for many reasons.

A]        “ BTW - FYI “ –“  me “ – some of my credentials, experience, training  -  my website WWW.KAYPROSTS.ORG  is down right now for some reason, but lot on it.-

I took many first aid & CPR courses, besides intensive & extensive safety & related issues as a Ph.D. chemist with much academic & industry experience and learned a great deal, especially in emergencies when it is your “ training “ that gets you thru it to try to even just save as many lives as you can while you still can – seconds / minutes count !..  She must well know that.

B]        You do not have time to get info from others, books, documents, etc. – lives are at stake within only minutes and even seconds.  Gail and I can swap a lot of stories I am sure !

C]        Also over a decade and eight [8] lawyers of lawsuits with my former local employer over their so serious safety, health, environmental, etc. issues.  Another intensive & expensive Ph.D. I feel. 

D]        We made “ new law “ to protect all chemists.  I can give you copies of his

10 page legal ruling by the judge !  Many local chemists are well aware of it.

E]        Not much known – but as I have noted – “ behind the scenes activities can get a lot more done by them “ voluntarily “ to minimize some of the so negative PR.

F]         Check the archives of the Morning Call back in the 1980’s for my

 “ press clippings “ – all the papers covered it for weeks.  I can also provide them of course.

G]        1]         So I think I can speak with some actual intensive and extensive experience, credentials, training, etc.  – “ I have walked the walk, not just the talkl ! “

2]         So in the “ heat “ of an important LMT meeting – how will she act, behave, etc. in light of the above ?

H]        1]         Mike has worked for PPL for many years – do you have to say anymore.? 

2]         Again, you may not even like Mike, but you know he is always there for your LMT best interests.  Yes, many may not even recognize him, but many sure know the name and all he has done for LMT for so long at great personal sacrifice & expense.   Who knows how much they are even paid by LMT  – less than $2000 ?  Volunteers on LMT service are not even eligible for any legal fees related to their LMT work – want to hear my

story ?

I]          She is just at the beginning of her careers – yes plural – you only get one [1] life but will have many careers – will tell you more about mine – just ask !  Well beyond my wildest dreams with a lot of help by many of course.

J]         Who else wants to contribute who are in the same situation to help better inform and educate the LMT voters and have similar credentials, experience, training, etc. or just want to continue just talking,, listening ?.

            2]         As another saying goes – “ It takes a village to bring up a child. “. 

But does it “ take a whole township to protect it ?  “

            3]         For those who do not know, years ago we had a very “ disasterous “election with many negative results !  We recovered, but how many times can we

do it ?

K]        As the saying goes “ Talk is cheap, it is not even worth the paper it is printed on “ – of course is is all verbal and not in writing on paper !

L]         Is that Gail compared to Mike also ?

P.S. Homer, is that enough for now or should I just continue ?

I will of course, but I need responses, so I can better “ target “ my blog to what is needed right now by LMT and the readers of the blog..
