Parsons, McLoughlin, Merkle, Hayes Elected to So. Lehigh School Board
According to unofficial election results, Kathleen D. Parsons, Thomas McLoughlin, Brian Merkle and William C. Hayes have been elected to seats on the Southern Lehigh School Board. Incumbents Dorothy Mohr and Elizabeth Stelts were defeated.
Unofficial results in the Southern Lehigh School Board race have been announced by the Lehigh County Voter Registration office.
According to the election results posted online by the county, with 100 percent of precincts reporting vote totals, Kathleen D. Parsons, Thomas McLoughlin (inc.), Brian Merkle and William C. Hayes (inc.) have been elected to four open seats on the board.
Parsons and McLoughlin were cross-posted Republican and Democratic candidates, while Merkle and Hayes were running as Republicans.
Incumbent Democrats Dorothy Mohr and Elizabeth Stelts were defeated in their bids for re-election to the board.
