When and how did your business get started?

I have been passionate about health, fitness and strength my entire life. I believe that overall well-being extends beyond muscle definition and outward appearance. Being strong internally is imperative. This industry is in my heart, and I have dedicated my life to helping my clients achieve their goals.

I've been involved in the fitness and nutrition fields for over 25 years. I initially became certified in personal training to train clients part time, while my full time job was an Account Executive in the stressful sales/marketing environment. I've always been an avid runner, weight trainer and mixed martial arts enthusiast. Exercise made me feel strong, healthy and peaceful, but I had never thought to pursue it as a full-time career.

Why did you decide to open your business in the Southern Lehigh area? 

I grew up in Coopersburg and graduated from Southern Lehigh High School.

What is your business best known for?

It has been best know for one-on-one personal training, small group training, Tough Mudder Training, Plyometric and sport-specific speed and agility training. We are EXPANDING IN JANUARY and will be adding a whole roster group of fitness classes and on-staff nutrition consulting and polarity therapy. I am very excited about 2014.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

The dragonfly logo is in honor of my mom, who passed away in 1996. She loved dragonflies and they signify transition. And my last name "Jaymes" is in honor of my dad—his first name. I did that so that they're a part of what I do every day, since they always encouraged me to do what I love.

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?

Since the studio is expanding, we are currently offering special training and nutrition packages, unlimited monthly fitness training class passes, and discounted preregistration for classes.
