When and how did your business get started?

Let's Bounce Around Rentals started in the spring of 2009. After owning and operating a private investigation firm for 14 years, the owner decided, with interest from his family, to start a new family-oriented venture. Our customers are smiling when we arrive, and smiling when we return to pick up the inflatable. Unfortunately, the children are not as happy when we arrive to pick up the inflatable because they hate to see it go.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

The owner and his family, as well as his employees, are residents of Southern Lehigh. Southern Lehigh is an idyllic community to reside and operate a business in. It is a family-oriented community, and most people we encounter know either the owner or our employees. Our employees were local student athletes who are now collegiate young men, who return in the summer to work in this community. Southern Lehigh provides a neverending crop of hardworking, respectable employees. We are fortunate.

What is your business best known for?

Our business is best known for having exciting products to rent, for value, and for great customer service/staff. We provide delivery/setup/pickup service, so our customers do not have to worry about any details. We currently have 28 different inflatables to rent for private parties, school and church events, fundraisers and festivals. Our most popular rentals over the summer months are our huge water slides. Who wouldn't enjoy having a giant water slide 18 feet high and over 33 feet long in their yard during the hot days of summer?

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

Most people do not know that the inflatable rental business is highly regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Ride and Measurement Standards. The owner of the business must be certified as an Amusement Ride Inspector, have the proper commercial liability insurance, inspect the inflatables monthly and at the time of setup, and file itineraries with the state of Pennsylvania for each and every rental. What the customers may also not know is that it takes approximately six to eight-plus hours to completely dry and clean an inflatable if it gets wet in a rainstorm.

Great business, very reliable, and accommodating! We rented the jungle bounce from them for our son's 2nd birthday and it was awesome. Staff was professional and courteous. We will definitely be using them for future parties!
