When and how did your business get started?

My husband and I purchased the travel agency franchise two months ago and have attended an in-depth training. Now we're back home and setting it up.

Why did you decide to open your business in this area? 

We liked the [Quakertown] location, but really we serve clients throughout the Lehigh Valley and can serve clients nationwide.

What is your business best known for?

Due to our parent company (World Travel Holdings) having very strong partnerships with all cruise lines, ocean and river cruises are what we are best known for. However, we have partnerships with many resorts, attractions and other vacation rentals all over the world, as well as airfare, lodging, etc., for all your travel needs.

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?

Yes, we are continuously receiving special offers from our partners (all cruise lines, Disney, Sandals Resorts and many others) that are exclusive to CruiseOne. Plus, to kick things off for our business, we are offering a special end of year offer: for any cruises booked through the end of 2013, get a $50 on-board credit (can be applied on top of any current on-board credit offers) OR get an additional 5 percent off any land packages booked through the end of 2013. What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

We offer expert knowledge to help plan your vacation or getaway, which can in most cases be booked with just a downpayment, and payments made up until the departure date. Something else our customers might not know is that we have pledged to donate a portion of all proceeds to local charities/causes, and we let our clients select who they want the donations to go to.
