Cookie Cafe Crumbles at Promenade Shops

Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley closed for business Dec. 21, the Express-Times reported Tuesday.

Along with another business that recently closed—the Latin fusion restaurant Pacifico—Nestle Toll House Cafe had been embroiled in a rent dispute with the Upper Saucon Township lifestyle center, although in both cases the lawsuits that stemmed from the disputes had been resolved, the newspaper reported.

It was announced earlier this week that George Paxos, who owns Melt at The Promenade Shops, is planning to open a new restaurant in the space that was occupied by Pacifico.
