So. Lehigh Grad to Perform at Musikfest Tuesday

The aspiring jazz artists in Alignment perform from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the National Penn Bank Jazz Cabaret Stage, in the ArtsQuest Building.
Pereira is a senior at Temple University, Boyer College of Music and Dance, where he studies jazz performance.
According to the Musifest webpage, Alignment consists of five "up and coming" jazz musicians. "By combining the tradition of jazz with modern influences spanning across genres, Alignment brings an exciting, forward-thinking approach to improvisational music," the site says.
The group has performed at several venues in New York City, Philadelphia, New Jersey and at private events.
