Celebrate Elvis' Birthday at the State Theatre

The Elvis Birthday Bash returns to the State Theatre for its 18th year Jan. 26.

Are you a fan of young '50s Elvis or '70s Vegas Elvis? You can celebrate both later this month at the State Theatre, which is bringing back the Elvis Birthday Bash for its 18th year.

The show features Scot Bruce as the young Elvis, and Mike Albert playing Presley in his later years.

"They both will take you well beyond the faux world of Elvis impersonators," the theater said in a news release. "From 'Hound Dog' to 'Suspicious Minds' and everything in between, this is a true tribute to the King that will leave you screaming for more."

Showtime is 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26. Tickets are $36-$41, and are available at the theater box office, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org.
