So. Lehigh Library to Hold 5K Run/Walk in October
The Southern Lehigh Public Library is planning a 5K Run/Walk to be held Oct. 13 as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. Proceeds from the event will benefit the library, which is located in Upper Saucon Township.
The Southern Lehigh Public Library has announced details about a 5K run/walk it will sponsor in October, as part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebration.
The "Book It" 5K will be held Sunday, Oct. 13 at 8:30 a.m. on the Saucon Rail Trail.
The race will begin and end at Upper Saucon Township Community Park, which is located across the street from the library, on Preston Lane in Center Valley.
Participants who register for the 5K by Sept. 26 are guaranteed a special race T-shirt.
The early registration fee (by Sept. 20) is $20. After Sept. 20, the registration fee increases to $30.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the library.
Participants can register on the library's website, or download and print a registration form.
