Saucon Rail Trail Now Open to Passer Road

Part of "Phase II" of the Saucon Rail Trail in Upper Saucon Township has opened.

A portion of the Saucon Rail Trail's "Phase II" in Upper Saucon Township is now officially open, township officials announced Friday afternoon.

The newly-opened section is between Upper Saucon Township Community Park and Passer Road.

"Trail users may access the new section of trail from the Southern Lehigh Public Library side of the Upper Saucon Township Community Park, or from a new trailhead on Station Avenue," a press release issued by the township stated.

Construction continues on the Phase II section from Passer Road south to the Southern Lehigh Living Memorial Park. 

"Upper Saucon Township hopes to have the remaining section open in the coming weeks," the press release said.
