Is Friday Night Trick-or-Treat a Good Idea?

Do you prefer Trick-or-Treat on the Friday before Oct. 31, on a Sunday afternoon or on Halloween night?

This year, Trick-or-Treat in Coopersburg borough, Upper Saucon Township, Lower Milford Township and many other Lehigh Valley municipalities will be held on Friday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Patch's Facebook pages, however, some residents have said they preferred it when the event was held on a Sunday afternoon, while others have argued it should be held on Oct. 31—regardless of which day of the week that date falls on.

Many smaller communities in the area that formerly held Trick-or-Treat on different days at different times have rescheduled them because the larger cities in the Lehigh Valley—notably Bethlehem—hold Trick-or-Treat on a Friday night.

What do you think? Do you prefer Trick-or-Treat on the Friday evening before Oct. 31, on a Sunday afternoon or on Halloween night? Tell us your preference in the comments below.
