205 Townhouses Planned for 31 Acres in U. Saucon

The Brinley Court development is planned for a tract off Old Bethlehem Pike in Upper Saucon Township, near the Bucks County border.

A developer plans to build 205 townhouses on 30.5 acres in Upper Saucon Township, in between Coopersburg and the Springfield Township, Bucks County border, according to an article published by PhillyBurbs.com.

The Brinley Court development is planned for a tract off Old Bethlehem Pike near Hilltop Drive, and will include 10.5 acres designated as open space in Springfield, the article indicated.

There was a similar proposal for this tract of land about 25 years ago. I don't know why it died at the time, but I think wetlands issues may have played a role. This would add a lot of traffic to the small roads in the area and seriously impact the school system.

more traffic, more kids, not enough tax revenue, and more people from jersey and new york. great.
