Southern Lehigh High School Announces 2013-2014 Theatre Season

The 2013-2014 theatre season at Southern Lehigh High School will include an old favorite for its fall play and a brand new modern work for its spring musical.  The high school will present Michael Frayn’s farce Noises Off from November 14th through November 16th at 7:30PM each night.  Tickets are general admission and can be ordered early via e-mail or at the door prior to each performance.  The spring musical will be a Lehigh Valley High School premiere of Shrek based on the famous Dreamworks movie.  The musical will play an additional performance from past practice by opening on Wednesday night, February 26th and running through Sunday, March 2nd.  All performances are 7:30PM except for the Sunday show, which is a matinee at 2PM.  Tickets for this production are reserved seating and tickets will be open for public purchase in January 2014.  Tickets for either production are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens or students.  Tickets can be purchased by e-mailing southernlehightheatre@gmail.com.  Southern Lehigh High School has earned numerous Freddy Awards over the last 10 years including 2 awards last year for their production of 42nd Street.  The production was also nominated for Best Musical and was featured during the 2013 WFMZ broadcast of the Freddy Awards from the State Theatre.
