does this organization support Southern Lehigh students who go to St. Mikes, Central, BECA, or any of the charter schools? I mean, they still are considered Southern Lehigh area students.

The Southern Lehigh Education Foundation was created to enhance the education of Southern Lehigh Students. Teachers submit grants and they are awarded based on the academic benefit and the number of students who will be affected. When the foundation was created, the intention was to benefit students attending Southern Lehigh schools. The grant money is not awarded on an individual student basis so it would be difficult to award money to other schools which would benefit students outside of the Southern Lehigh District, even though a Southern Lehigh student may be attending there presently.
